Atlantic Squared is a commercial and residential building supplies group. It supports provincially owned and independently managed businesses. Although it shares resources, supports teams, and exchanges best practices, they do not commission inventories or customer information. Atlantic Squared has rapidly become one of the largest roofing distributors in the U.S.

In March 2019, our CEO & Managing Partner Tim Perryman, acquired a two-step roofing distribution company called Carolina Atlantic. The business had two locations in Sanford, North Carolina and Greenville, South Carolina.

In February 2020, Carolina Atlantic acquired four more locations in Rice, Texas, Biloxi, Mississippi, Freeport, Florida and Pelham, Alabama. The Pelham, Alabama location was later moved to Calhoun, Georgia. In August 2020, Carolina Atlantic opened its first greenfield location in Baxley, Georgia which brought the total number of locations to seven.

In March 2021, Perryman acquired two more businesses, Custom Metal Solutions (now Metal Roofing Systems SC LLC) and Sunbelt Forest Products (now Carolina Atlantic Forest Products).

The addition of divisions and the rapid expansion of branch locations resulted in the formation of Atlantic Squared Supply, LLC in May 2021. Atlantic Squared acquired Mid-Atlantic Roofing Supply in November 2021. Thereafter, GLM Landscape Supply was acquired in April 2022. Recently, GLM acquired The Rock Yard to add to its portfolio. In March 2022, Metal Roofing Systems was added to the family of Atlantic Squared companies. It also resulted in an exciting partnership across divisions.

Atlantic Squared is conveniently headquartered in Cumming, Georgia central to several division branches in the Greater Atlanta and North Georgia Area. There is also a corporate office located in Greenville, South Carolina. The entity consists of 47 branches and counting across the United States.
